CARB Launches New Citation Hotline

CARB is Launching a New Citations Hotline

Announcing the launch of a new dedicated phone number for CARB’s Citations Hotline.

What is the benefit?

The Citations Hotline was transitioned to a new hotline number (916) 322-8275. The dedicated hotline will help improve the caller experience by offering Frequently Asked Questions tailored to citations, pre-recorded information on how to resolve a citation, streamlined voicemail return features, and will allow callers to reach a live agent more effectively. The new Citations Hotline will offer a dedicated hotline for stakeholders that have been issued a citation for Heavy-Duty Diesel Regulations. It will provide support and assistance to stakeholders with citations issued for various diesel Air Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) Regulations and for the Heavy-Duty Inspection and Maintenance Program (also known as Clean Truck Check). The new hotline will improve efficiency, reduce the time it takes to reach a live agent, and ensure better customer service to the callers.
